The fourth day of Amazon India Fashion Week witnessed a wide variety of design aesthetics starting from ethnic to redefined military-chic. Designers including Sahil Kochhar, Pia Pauro, Bodice by Ruchika Sachdeva, Péro by Aneeth Arora and Gaurav Gupta put the best of their collections on the runway. Here’s a sneak peek into the Day 4 of Amazon India Fashion Week A/W’ 15.
Designer Nikhita opened the fourth day of the event for her label Mynah designs by showcasing meticulously structured, neatly sculpted outfits whereas designer Pratima Pandey put together a lineup comprising separates in flowy silhouettes paired together in earthy tones, prints and gold embellishments. Designer Sahil Kochhar broke away from his usual ecru-colour palette and displayed intricately-made winter garments in shades of green, pink, black and blue.
Designer Pia Pauro’s collection ‘Riders on the storm’ was an amalgamation of immaculately laser-cut evening dresses in shades of orange, mint, blue and white styled perfect with complementing headgears.
Military-chic made quite the statement on the fourth day of the Amazon India Fashion Week. Designer label Virtues by Viral, Ashish & Vikrant showcased an ethnic version of a military-inspired collection while designer Aneeth Arora displayed a rather playful and androgynous collection inspired by redefined military uniforms for her label Péro.
Designer Ruchika Sachdeva for the label Bodice put together an assemblage of technically constructed garments in shades of indigo, copper, rust and white.
Designer Sonam Dubal’s collection was a blend of ikats and oriental influences in colours like fuchsia, orange, blue, brick and gold.
Designer Poonam Bhagat showcased edgy silhouettes with fine line drawings in shades of ivory, cobalt, black and orange.
Designer Gaurav Gupta concluded the fourth day of the Amazon India Fashion Week with his metallic collection comprising shades of green, grey, plum and black. The lineup was made of metallic jerseys, neoprene and suede.
