#1 Home Alone (1990)
Who hasn’t watched Home Alone? We all wanted to be that kid and kick the arses of those two invaders who tried to rob his family around Christmas time. What led to that situation was when Kevin (Macaulay Culkin), the brat, was mistakenly left behind by his family while they took a trip to Paris. Home Alone shows how Kevin protects his family home against the burglars while his family tries to reach him. Home Alone is said to be one of the best Christmas movie of all time and a complete family entertainer.

#2 A Christmas Carol (2009)
You must remember the name, A Christmas Carol, from your school literature books. The movie is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novella about an old unhappy grumpy man who despises everyone and Christmas, Mr Ebenezer Scrooge. He is transformed into a loving and gentle man after he is visited by the business partner, Jacob Marley’s and ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. Itis an animated movie and the character Ebenezer Scrooge is voiced by Jim Carrey.

#3 The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
The Nightmare Before Christmas also known as Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is a poem written by Tim Burton only. The animated musical based on the poem is about, Jack Skellington (Danny Elfman), the king of Halloween Town who discovers Christmas Town but is unaware of the concept the city follows.

#4 The Polar Express (2004)
In the late 1960’s on the night of Christmas Eve a young boy comes across a train called The Polar Express which is set to leave for North Pole. The conductor lets the young kid hop onto the train where he meets more kids around his age. On this journey to North Pole he learns about friendship, bravery and most importantly the spirit of Christmas. Another cool thing, Tom Hanks has voiced seven characters!

The Holiday is about two women, Amanda (Cameron Diaz) and Iris (Kate Winslet), one from America and the other from Britain, both troubled with guy-problems. They decide to swap their homes in each other’s countries where they both meet local men and fall for them. Jude Law and Jack Black are the leading men in this romantic comedy!
