IIT Bombay’s Mood Indigo is an annual cultural fest is India’s biggest college music fest. From the biggest artists of India to Bands like Porcupine Tree, Karnivool and Simple Plan have performed there. Being Asia’s biggest festival, Mood Indigo is also the oldest one to make people jump out of their spots! It’s a four daylong event that manages to keep you on your toes and takes place by the end of December every year.

This festival is for the all the metal fanatics out there in India. It’s the greatest metal event that India has ever come across. Summer Storm had bands like Lamb of God, Opeth, Inner Sanctum and many more rocking out to the fans. #4 Bacardi EVC – Enchanted Valley Carnival
Just two years old and EVC has already got people going gaga over the festival. The event focuses on genres like, Trance, House, Techno, Fusion Indie and also experiments with music. It takes place at Aamby Valley City all over Asia. EVC has camping options and adventure activities that allow you to experience a great time altogether.
#5 Bacardi NH7 Weekender
To put it in the simplest way, this is hands down the most amazing festival India has got to offer. NH7 Weekender kicked off in December 2010 and has got people coming back every year ever since. Weekender brings you artists from different genres from all over the world. It takes place in Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, and Kolkata and is also happening for the first time in Shillong this year. This three-day festival has got so much in store for you and one can still not get enough of it!
#6 Sunburn
Sunburn takes place in the heavenly land of beaches, Goa. This dance music festival pulls crowd from all over the world. It has been listed number 9 on best dance festivals of the world list and is held over three days in December every year. #7 Gulmarg Winter Fest

#12 Hornbill Festival
Hornbill festival is a massive 10 day long carnival that provides you with a really good dose of culture and music. It is known for tribal art, music and the ethnic cuisine.
